But the software in every chess computer has novice settings all the way up to expert, so anyone can play and the computer has the levels to provide an enjoyable game that challenges your skill level too. The database opening possibilities are huge - in most cases the 'opening book' (collection of known openings by the computer) covers some thousand possible starting move sequences.
