Travel chess sets have come a long way in the past 20 years. From concept through to the finished quality product Baron's magnetic chess sets have been perfected. This is a great travel set. It is a great size. All the chess pieces have a place. The tray that holds them fits inside the board and its magnetic! Luxury at an affordable price! You don’t often get a travel set that has everything you need including an affordable price but this set has it. With a 'realistic' size board of 12 * 12 inches along with magnetic pieces, this set can only be a pleasure to play with. The chess pieces are stored in an internal tray that can be opened from either side of the board. The tray slides smoothly using ball bearing technology (not just wood on wood like cheaper sets).
