Italfama Greek Mythology Stone Chess Set

The Italian manufacturer Italfama make great chess products! This is a decorative example commemorating the hugely historical and influential Greek mythology that characterises many higher education secular courses and has moulded aspects of ancient Hellenic religion. Many of the worlds literary works have their genesis in Greek mythology, such as Homer’s The Odyssey and The Iliad. And scientifically, the names of the planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all come from Greek gods and goddesses.
This chess set is made from crushed stone and bonded with resin. The King is 3.25″ in height and 1″ in Base Diameter. It’s chess board (not included) should have squares of 1.5″ or greater.
